Emma Lindsay is an Irish artist living in Greystones, Co Wicklow. She has a background in Social Science (UCD) and Applied Social Research (TCD). She works with abstract expressionism, using acrylic paint and oil pastel to explore somatic experiences. She engages whimsy in her style, encoding paintings with vibrancy and alertness. Space and experience morph through the layers of paint as it is applied and scraped back, revealing steady abstract expressions.
